Obituaries

Mountain View resident, Dr. Catherine Pauline Crowl, died on Oct. 27 at the age of 56.

Crowl was a marriage and family therapist in Palo Alto and a former chemist. She is survived by her mother Mary Ellen Crowl of Annapolis, Md.; her sisters Ellen Crowl Peck of Forth Worth, Texas and Margaret Crowl of Somerset, N.J.; her niece, nephew, great-nephew and great-nieces.

A memorial service will be held at the Unity Palo Alto Community Church, 3391 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto on Nov. 19, at 11 a.m.
Beatrice Surbridge

Los Altos resident Beatrice Surbridge, 80, passed away on Nov. 13 at El Camino Hospital.

Surbridge was employed at Bank of America in Mountain View for more than 25 years. She is survived by her sons John and Tom; her daughters Joanne and Patricia; her grandchildren Allison and John Patrick Surbridge, Anne, Molly and Maegan Surbridge, Scott and Renee LaFleur, and Jacob Toves.

A private interment will be held.
