Attempted Kidnapping -- 200 block Calderon Ave., 11/14

At approximately 2:07 a.m., a 2004 Ford Mustang slowly pulled into a driveway, blocking a woman's path. The driver got out of the car and grabbed the woman and put his hand over her mouth. As he dragged the victim toward the car, a person in the passenger seat shouted "No, no."

At the request of the passenger, the suspect released the victim and drove off. The police were able to locate the vehicle and took it into custody. The suspects are still unknown.
Stolen Vehicle -- 1900 block El Camino Real, 11/15

Police pursued a stolen vehicle from Mountain View to Palo Alto at about 10:35 p.m. The male driver exited the vehicle while it was still in motion and fled from the scene. As the vehicle crashed into a resident's pillar, a female passenger attempted to evade police and was captured by a police dog.

The male suspect was located and arrested in a backyard of a resident.
