Radix, a Mountain View-based company which develops advanced signal processing, is likely to benefit from new congressional funding. Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-Palo Alto) announced the dedication of $3 million for Anti-Jam GPS technology that helps aiports remain open during low visibility conditions among other things.
Radix was founded in 1990 and is consider to be a leading developer in that field.
New hotel open for business
Whether for business or pleasure, travelers to Mountain View and other nearby cities have a new option if they need a place to stay: the newly built Hampton Inn & Suites hotel, located near the junction of Highways 101 and 85.
The 88-room hotel opened for business two months ago. The rooms, 44 of which are suites, are equipped with the basic amenities. There is also a high-tech conference room for up to 45 people, a guest business center, an outdoor whirlpool and a fitness center.
The hotel is located at 390 Moffett Blvd.
