Brandishing a weapon -- Rainbow West Motel, 1905 W.El Camino Real, 1/02

Police arrived at the Rainbow West Motel at 8:38 p.m. after an argument between two residents escalated. Earlier in the evening, a 46-year-old male went into the room of a female resident. A 41-year-old male acquaintance of the female told him to leave and a verbal altercation ensued.

Later, the first male returned with a large knife and gun and threatened the other male resident. When police arrived and took the suspect into custody, they found three guns, ammunition and several knives in his room.

Bank robbery -- Silicon Valley Credit Union, 298 San Antonio Rd., 12/30

A man entered the bank at 8:57 a.m. and presented a note to one of the tellers demanding money. He obtained the money, then fled the scene. No one was physically injured.

The suspect, a black male in his 20s or 30s with a thin build, was dressed as a woman wearing a dark-colored jacket, a scarf, hat, sunglasses and a white skirt. No arrest has been made.
