Burglary suspect mulls offer

Marco Antonio Nava, accused of a string of burglaries around the Mountain View-Los Altos border, was offered a deal by prosecutors.

Nava was scheduled to enter a plea Monday, but said he wanted more time to consider an offer of six years and eight months in prison.

Nava faces four counts of felony burglary and one count each of attempted burglary, misdemeanor battery, and annoying and molesting a minor. He could be sentenced up to 11 years and four months if convicted.
