Assault with a deadly weapon - 400 block Franklin, 3/6

The suspect was visiting a resident when she got into an argument with a neighbor who was upset over her loud voice and vulgar language. The suspect produced a kitchen knife and brandished it at the victim, but did not cut her. After being chased away she produced a hook using it to threaten him. The police came and arrested Veronica O'Brien for assault with a deadly weapon. After searching her they found five other knives which had previously been stolen from the victim's residence.

Assault with a deadly weapon - 2000 block Latham, 3/2

Four men were driving in the 2000 block of Rengstorff when something hit their car and they pulled over. They discovered it was a billiard ball and an altercation broke out between the males from the car and four other males. The police came after the group moved to the Seven-Eleven at 613 S. Franklin. One of the adult males was arrested after the police found a knife on him and the victims said he had threatened them with it.
