Suspicious Circumstances/Person -- 2600 block California St., 3/21
A woman called the police after seeing a man looking into the window of her neighbor’s apartment. She said he looked like a man she had caught looking into her window a few days prior. When she exited her building, he ran away.
The police brought the canine unit to the apartment to find the suspect. Astor, the police dog, was able to track the suspect to an apartment in the building. Julio Ortega was arrested on charges of peeping and prowling.
