Terrorist Threat -- 1300 block Diericx Dr., 4/4

A 54-year-old Palo Alto woman threatened her daughter with a knife. After the mother left the police were called and arrested Jan Marshall at her residence in Palo Alto. The daughter was not injured.

Assault with a deadly weapon - 181 Castro St., 4/1

At the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, a man got into an argument with the bartender. When the bartender asked him to leave, the man became angry and threw a glass at the bartender. Robert Quirk, a 68-year-old Palo Alto resident was arrested.

Animal Cruelty - 1900 block of Rock Street, 4/1

A neighbor called the police to report that he suspected his neighbor was abusing his dog. When the police arrived, the resident would not answer the door, but the police could hear a dog whimpering in the garage. After entering the garage they found the dog was unable to stand due to his matted fur and severe neglect. The dog was taken to the veterinarian, but had to be euthanized. Darrell Clark, 57 was arrested.
