Benefit walk this weekend

Mountain View High School students are hosting a 5K walk on April 9 to benefit Casa Say, a shelter for youth who live in dangerous or unhealthy environments at home.

The run is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the campus located at 3535 Truman Ave. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The cost is $12.

Foothill holds play festival

Foothill Theatre Conservatory students will be staging a student-directed, one-act play festival started April 8 through April 17 in the Playhouse Theater (Room 1301) at Foothill College, located at 12345 El Monte Road in Los Altos Hills.

Evening performances are April 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 at 8 p.m. A matinee will be performed April 17 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10-$15. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling 949-7360.

Graham opens 'Music Man'

Graham Middle School is putting on its second annual spring musical, "The Music Man" on April 8 at 7 pm and April 9 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Ticket prices are $3-$5. The school is located at 1175 Casto St. in Mountain View.

'Beauty and the Beast' at St. Francis

Saint Francis High School opens "Beauty and the Beast" on April 8 at 7:30 p.m. Additional performances will be held April 9, 14, 15 and 16 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $10 at the door of Raskob Center for the Performing Arts on the high school campus at 1885 Miramonte Ave. in Mountain View.
