Stand off, 500 block N. Shoreline Blvd.- 4/5

A woman called the police after being threatened by her 38-year-old son. When the police arrived about 5 p.m. they found him holding a large wooden stick. After seeing the police the suspect retreated into the apartment where he began waving the stick and broke a window. Afterwards he locked himself into a bedroom. Believing him to be a threat to himself, the S.W.A.T team and a hostage negotiator were called out. Around 11 p.m. the police were able to enter the room. The man was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Indecent exposure, 585 Franklin St. - 4/6

At the library, a 3-year-old girl strayed from her mother, and while alone in an aisle, a man approached her, exposed himself and touched her over her clothes. She then ran away to her mother. After the police arrived the suspect was not found, but the mother and another witness described him as a white male between 20 and 30, wearing a blue t-shirt and tan shorts, 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, clean shaven, brown hair with blond highlights.

Burglary, 500 block S. Rengstorff Ave. - 4/7

A neighbor called the police to report that a man was removing the window screen from one of her neighbor's windows and trying to enter the apartment. While removing the screen the neighbor grabbed the suspect's arm from inside, causing the suspect to run away. The police found the man walking on Rengstorff and booked Ruben Maximo for burglary.
