Assault with a deadly weapon, 600 block Evelyn St., 4/16

Two men were walking from the VTA station when they saw three people yelling gang-related comments. They suspects then followed them in their car. One victim was punched and cut on the arm with a knife and the other victim was hit with a bat and stabbed at least four times with a knife. Both were treated at the hospital and released. The three suspects were Hispanic males between the ages of 17 and 23. The car they were driving was described as a 1990s red 4-door Dodge.

Assault with a deadly weapon, 685 Cuesta Dr., 4/16

Two men were playing handball at Cuesta Park when they were approached by nine or 10 people and a fight broke out. One man was hit on the head with a hard object and the other on the arm with a Karate stick. The suspects, who are described as Hispanic males between the ages of 18 and 30, drove away in a black or blue 4-door Honda.
