Laverna Morgan

Laverna Vincent Morgan, a Mountain View resident, died at her home on March 12.

She was raised on her family's apricot ranch on Calderon Avenue in old Mountain View. Vincent Drive was named after her family when the ranch was subdivided in the early 1950s.

After graduating from Mountain View High School she launched her 40- year career as a retail manufacturing representative in the apparel industry. She married her husband, Ben Morgan in the early 1950s.

She was preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her three nieces, Carol Rudgers-Pennel, Georgene Carambat, Charlene Stockwell and several great nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held April 20 at the Mountain View Chapel of Spangler Mortuaries.
