Commercial burglary, 1288 Pear Ave., 6/9

When the alarm at Aclara Bioscience was set off at 8:23 p.m. and police and the business manager went to investigate, they found two men trying to strip the electrical wiring from the building. Police arrested Lewis Frafer, a 36-year-old Sunnyvale resident, and say they found about half an ounce of methamphetamine and a billy club in his possession. A second suspect was able to escape, but Stacey Ramirez, 36, was later arrested at his home by Sunnyvale police.

Possession of deadly weapon, Moffett Blvd./Middlefield, 6/9

An officer stopped a man for having an expired registration and realized the driver had an outstanding warrant against him and was on probation. A search of the car also turned up a billy club. Carlos Mata, a 23-year-old Mountain View resident, was arrested.
