Peeping and Prowling, 500 block of Easy St., 7/6

A juvenile male was seen peering into a living room window at night. He attempted to flee on foot after being noticed by the male occupant of the household. The suspect was confronted by the resident, but escaped with no physical altercation.

Driving Under the Influence, 584 N. Rengstorff Avenue, 7/7

A 45-year-old man was arguing with customers in a Rengstorff liquor store in the early morning. He went to his vehicle and grabbed a baseball bat, entered the store brandishing the bat, but then fled the scene in his car.

The man returned, however, after police had arrived at the store. He was inebriated and so police arrested him for driving under the influence. During the arrest police searched his vehicle and found a rifle, and the man was also arrested for violating a court order prohibiting him from possessing a weapon. He was booked at the San Jose jail.
