Crime Watch Crime Watch (August 19, 2005)

Carjacking on 2300 block of California Avenue, 8/12

Four males sitting on a balcony at 2326 California Ave. got into a verbal argument with men in a car below the balcony. They descended from the balcony and beat the two men in the car, dragging them out of the vehicle. They started to drive the car away, but failed to notice that it was in reverse and crashed into a wall. Three adults and a juvenile were arrested for carjacking.

Criminal threats at 400 block of Del Medio Avenue, 8/10

As a fight broke out between two brothers, one of them took a hammer to smash objects around his mother's house. He then threatened to kill his brother and fled the scene. Police found the suspect in the neighborhood later that day and arrested him.
