Grant writers, sharpen your pencils

The Kiwanis Club of Mountain View Foundation is looking for applicants among the city's nonprofits -- specifically those who provide health care and other services to the underserved -- to help relieve the foundation of $75,000.

The deadline to submit proposals is Nov. 14. For more information, visit www.geocities.com/kiwanis_mv or e-mail questions to mvkiwanis@sbcglobal.net. -- Don Frances
