Final Thursday Night Live

The very last Thursday Night Live event of the summer is happening tonight on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View.

Pedestrians will get Castro all to themselves, as the downtown thoroughfare is closed to car traffic so residents can enjoy the event's car show, farmers market, kids activities, live music and more.

A live band, The Groove Kings, will perform at the corner of Castro and Dana streets as part of the city's Summer Concert Series.

The event is 5 to 9 p.m. on Castro Street, with live music from 6:30 to 8. To see the city announcement, click here.

I couldn't make it tonight, but I just wanted to voice my support for Thursday Night Live. It's really a wonderful atmosphere.

Went to them all and these were really fun, although I liked the "once a month" format of last year more than the "once every two weeks" format of this year.
