TONIGHT: MVWSD considers all-day kindergarten

Should every school in the Mountain View Whisman School District offer extended-day kindergarten? The school board is set to take up that topic at its Thursday, April 22, meeting. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. and is held at the district office, 750-A San Pierre Way, Mountain View.

Also on the agenda is a presentation on the plans to improve school facilities, possibly by adding two-story classroom buildings at nearly all of the grade K-8 district's nine schools.
