A 22-year-old Mountain View man was arrested May 5 for allegedly having sex with a teenage girl who was with him in a hot tub at a San Carlos home earlier the same day.
Officers responded to the 1300 block of Laurel Street to meet with a 15-year-old girl who told police the sexual situation had occurred earlier at a friend’s home in the 800 block of Bauer Drive, according to San Carlos police.
The teenager told police she went into a hot tub at her friend’s house and was eventually joined by the suspect, who she had apparently never met, but was later identified as Mountain View resident Baron Josef Ashton Von Knorring.
The victim reported that Von Knorring allegedly made advances and had sex with her, after which she left the Jacuzzi and reported the act to her friends who called the police.
Von Knorring was arrested in the 600 block of Elm Street at about 11 a.m. and booked at San Mateo County jail for sexual penetration and unlawful sexual intercourse.
Oh they are going to just LOVE your name in prison Baron Josef Ashton Von Knorring. You chose one of the few crimes where prison can provide a true understanding of what your victim felt.

I understand that guy is stupid and a serious criminal. But then how stupid is this 15 yr old girl? it doesn’t take a rocket scientist or a sherlock holmes to realize that this girl has done this before many times. Its not like she didn’t know anything at all. It seems she willingly did it with him especially a stranger..come on, is she mentally unstable? the article doesn’t say anything about a forced rape. what am i missing here?

I was thinking the same thing. There was no mention of ‘rape’ just ‘sex’. Something probably went sour between the two and her/her friends wanted to get him in trouble.
This girl isn’t so innocent at all. Lets apply the law equally to both. I’m tired of how society (parents) doesn’t like to get out the old belt for a lil whoppin’. This applies to both boys and girls. I’m just tired of the “let’s talk about it and learn from out mistakes” approach.
So don’t pin everything on the guy. He and the girl were probably drunk and horny and things happened.

what your missing is that having sex with a minor is considered statutory rape – no matter what.
So whats your point? That its 100% the guys fault? That the girl has no culpability in this situation?
I take it the 15-year old’s parents were nowhere to be found, neither in the hot tub or any where close enough to supervise. And it certainly doesn’t seem like the 22-year old’s parents were ever around either.

Let me guess an 18 yr old kid has the “maturity or life experience to be able to make adult decisions or truly understand the consequences of her actions”… So I’m guessing your ok having 18 year olds deciding weather to smoke or even join the army at this age.
I’d like to interject that the vast, vast, VAST majority of adults today voluntarily lost their virginity in their teens, sometimes to someone over 18 and that the country is inundated with similar “criminals”.
What’s even more amusing is that other countries don’t have such strict or heavily enforced laws, hence making a very large portion of foreign people you meet “predators”.
Executive summary: sexually mature people, what ever age those changes start to appear, generally like to have sex.
The girl isn’t 17 on the verge of turning 18, she’s 15. I don’t think all statutory charges are deserved, but in this case it most likely is. A 15 year old? That’s pretty skeezy.
She was 15 but probably looked much older even maybe on the verge of legal age hence he “popped it in”.

what most likely happened imo is this: couple guys and a couple girls hanging out drinking and smoking weed, this chick has a little bit to much and he took advantage of her. the next day she no feel so well and tell her mommy. mommy tells daddy and BAM HERPES!
did i mention that the other couple probably went inside to get there things wet and left these two alone?
This is what really happened.
This girl knew this 22 yr old. Since he lives on is own with his buddy’s, the girl tells her gf’s that there’s a place to hang out and drink. All of them drink and smoke.
Soon after, guy and girls pair up and take turns in the the bed. All of them have a good time except for the one gets home half drunk and her parents force her into a corner where she points the finger at one of the guys.
None of this changes the fact that the girl is 15. It’s not like she was losing her virginity to her H.S. boyfriend, this is a 22 year old guy we’re talking about. I don’t feel bad for him at all. He should know better

A 15 year old girl (or a 15 year old boy for that matter) does not have the maturity or life experience to be able to make adult decisions or truly understand the consequences of her actions, that is why there are statutory rape laws to protect them from adults predators.
Don’t be such a drama queen. Obviously there are plenty of adults walking around who are unable to make adult decisions
We need to draw the line somewhere. Our society has chosen 18 and 21 as the lines. No matter where we draw the line, some people are going to fall on the wrong side.
