Jewelry stolen in burglary on Anna Avenue

Various gold jewelry was stolen from a home in the 300 block of Anna Avenue sometime between 10:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 8, police said.

The burglar, or burglars, apparently entered the house through an unlocked window, according to Mountain View police spokeswoman Jaime Garrett.

"We encourage residents to make sure that the windows and doors to their home are locked when they aren't home and to secure all valuables," Garrett said.
