Police locate missing woman

Chunyu Pu reportedly went missing at 4 p.m.

UPDATE: Police located the missing woman and called off the search, according to an update issued at around 9 a.m. Sunday.


Mountain View police are searching for a 61-year-old woman with a medical condition who was reported missing on Saturday afternoon and who was last seen in Palo Alto.

Police are asking the public for help in locating Chunyu Pu, who has been missing since about 4 p.m. Pu, who is considered at risk, was last seen at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, located at 701 El Camino Real, according to the Mountain View Police Department.

The California Highway Patrol had also put out a "silver alert" notifying the public to call the police if they see Yu, who they said has a medical condition and may be disoriented. Pu is 5 feet 5 inches in height, weighs about 110 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. She was reportedly last seen wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans.
