7 Degrees Ensemble presents 'Music of Al-Andalus' concert

Proceeds benefit arts nonprofit Zawaya

7 Degrees Ensemble, a group of vocalists and string instrumentalists, will present a concert of music from Al-Andalus (medieval Muslim Spain) on Saturday, Feb. 9, at 7:30 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, 505 E. Charleston Road.

The show is sponsored by Bodhi Tree Concerts North, a benefit concert series.

One hundred percent of profits from the concert will go directly to Zawaya, a San Mateo based non-profit whose mission is to preserve, produce, and promote Arabic Arts in San Mateo County and the larger San Francisco Bay Area.

Tickets are $27. Go to BPT.
