St. Lawrence String Quartet performs at Stanford


The St. Lawrence String Quartet will offer free concerts Friday, June 28, at noon, Saturday, June 29, at 5 p.m., and Sunday, June 30, at 11 a.m. at Stanford University's Bing Concert Hall and Campbell Recital Hall.

Friday's concert features the second of Haydn's six Op. 20s, along with Henri Duparc's "Three Songs" performed by tenor Paul Groves and pianist Stephen Prutsman, and Mozart's Piano Quartet No. 1, featuring Danish Quartet violinist Frederik ├śland, violist Maria Lambros, cellist Michael Kannen, and pianist Pedja Muzijevic. Saturday's is a showcase of ensembles participating in the 2019 Chamber Music Seminar.

Sunday's is a four-hour "marathon" finale performance by all of the 2019 St. Lawrence String Quartet Chamber Music Seminar ensembles. Go to Stanford Live for more information.
