Construction worker injured in fall

A construction worker who fell from a roof was rescued by firefighters Thursday afternoon.

A framer working on a multi-story building on Ferguson Drive fell about 10 feet from the roof onto the fourth floor, said Robert Maitland, spokesman for the Mountain View Fire Department. Emergency personnel were called at about 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 29 and had to extract him.

The worker was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries, Maitland said.
