Barnett Family performs benefit concert

Local family of singers will donate all proceeds to Recovery Cafe San Jose

The Barnett Family & Friends (the Barnetts are a Palo Alto family with a love for music, singing and helping the less fortunate), will perform a concert featuring fresh arrangements of traditional holiday music for voice, classical guitar, cello and percussion on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 3:30 p.m. at First Congregational Church of Palo Alto, 1985 Louis Road.

The music will be drawn from the family's album, "Angels Among Us: Holiday Music to Fight Mental Illness."

The concert will also feature an inspirational recovery story, and a performance from Recovery Cafe SJ's Closing the Gap Chorus. All proceeds (admission is on a freewill donation basis) will benefit Recovery Cafe San Jose.
