"Hummingbird"
In mid-May, a local resident had apparently spotted this mother hummingbird in St. Giles Lane, Mountain View. Days after I took this photo in early June, I saw a tiny chick for a second before the mother flew to the nest and sat down. The next day, the nest was empty. Submitted by SK on Jun 20, 2010
