An apartment in the 2500 block of Alvin Street was burglarized sometime between 9 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, police said.

The victims — a 30-year-old male and a 28-year-old female — told police that a book of checks, an Apple laptop, an HP computer monitor and various items of jewelry were taken, according to Liz Wylie, spokeswoman for the Mountain View Police Department.

According to Wylie, police believe the burglar or burglars entered the home through a window that was closed but unlocked.

There were no witnesses, Wylie said.

  1. Well, they’re here, and if they can’t get work, they will steal or do whatever it is people do to survive. There aren’t any jobs. Do the math. Mexico has the tightest immigration laws in NortH America. The Mexican Government is as racist as the KKK.
