Timid spicing mars effort

Nola in Palo Alto is authentically New Orleans in every respect but food flavor

It didn't taste like chicken. It didn't taste like fish, or pork, or beef either. It was chewy with a slight aggressiveness to it, somewhere between mild and gamy. I've eaten alligator in New Orleans and had the same reaction. Gator is its own entity in the pantheon of meat flavors.
