What's your favorite spot for a summer day trip?

Asked in downtown Mountain View. Pictures and interviews by Daniella Sanchez and Rebecca Alger.

"My favorite day trip would be Ed Levin County Park. It's beautiful, it's scenic. There's places for fishing, hiking, even horseback riding."

Jim Hsia, Milpitas

"My favorite day trip is just walking my dog around the neighborhood."

Steve Baird, Mountain View

"My favorite day trip is to go into to the city to Yerba Buena Gardens and go to Samovar Tea Lounge."

Anna Bowman, San Jose

"My favorite day trip is going to Santa Cruz beach."

Danni Shen, Mountain View

"I think my favorite day trip to take in the Bay Area would probably be just to go to Rancho for a day and hike. I think it's a beautiful view and fun walks."

Dor Gvirtsman, Mountain View
