From Barnyard to Butcher Shop says the meat comes from "a 20,000-square-foot farm at the base of Mount Shasta."

I'm pretty sure it takes 20,000 acres, not square feet, to grow all that variety and number of animals, as well as the grass they eat for the first 3 years or so, as well as the feed lots where they eat all that grain (also grown on the farm?).

20,000 square feet is less than half an acre--I suspect there are still a few homes in Mountain View on lots that big.

20,000 acres is about 31 square miles, about the size of 2 1/2 half Mountain View cities.
