The man, identified as 27-year-old Antonio Hutchinson, is a Southern California rapper originally from North Carolina. Hutchinson claimed that someone stole his lyrics and posted a video on YouTube using them as the poster's own. He was upset about the video and wanted Google to take it down, according to Sgt. Saul Jaeger of the Mountain View Police Department.
Police do not know if Hutchinson came to Mountain View solely to get the video taken down.
Hutchinson allegedly confronted Google employees at 1950 Charleston Road at around 4 p.m. He was told the company would not take down the video, and he became aggressive with Google security when they asked him to leave the campus. Security then requested assistance from the police department.
When an officer arrived, Hutchinson spotted him and aggressively charged him, Jaeger said. During the struggle that ensued, Hutchinson allegedly struck an officer. He also threatened officers with physical violence.
Hutchinson was arrested and booked into San Jose Main Jail on charges of threatening a police officer and battery on an officer.
