Dibs on Moffett

In 1931, Mountain View and Sunnyvale gave 1,000 acres of what is now Moffett Field to the Navy for $1. Today, at least one City Council member wants Mountain View to have a plan in case it's ever given back.

So San Jose would love to take that airport and turn it into a cargo airport. Just make sure they follow a curfew or some noise limitation standard. Shoreline park has continuously proved that sound in the area travels far and the neighbors like there quiet nights.

Tsk, tsk... This article is rife with misinformation. Why is the current landowner (NASA) referred to as a "tenant?"
