Mixed-Media Collage Exhibition at CSMA's Mohr Gallery

Original post made by csma, another community, on Jun 3, 2008

Visit the Mohr Gallery at the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) at Finn Center from June 6 through July 24 to see Impromptu, An Exhibition of Mixed-Media Collage, featuring works by Inge Infante and her students. On Friday, June 13, the public is invited to attend an opening reception (6-8 pm) and artist talk (6:30-7 pm). CSMA’s Mohr Gallery exhibitions are sponsored by Heritage Bank of Commerce.

The show includes more than 20 works by Inge Infante and 8 of her adult students: Heidi Archdeacon, Wileta Burch, Dorit Elisha, Jeanne Mankinen, Linda Powers, Conni Rizzuto, Lea Schnipper and Linda Tapscott. Inge’s students come from diverse backgrounds, some with extensive art training. Others have professional careers as doctors, therapists, and photographers who have found collage to be an art form offering the opportunity to experiment, explore and discover through combining random ideas in a visual form.

Exhibition, reception & artist talk are free and open to the public.
