Hospital construction on track

El Camino Hospital administrators say the new facility is on track and below budget, and should be open for patients in fall 2009.

From the Voice's own archives, the original budget for the El Camino Hospital construction was $298 million. Ken King and the administration at the hospital are $154 million OVER BUDGET! When Measure D was passed to provide tax payer funds for the rebuilding of the hospital, the $298 million figure was used. This is just another example of the lack of integrity in hospital announcements.
