Council approves utility rate increases

To compensate for increased water, garbage and sewer costs imposed on the city, the City Council raised utility rates Tuesday.

"an average increase of $1.15 for garbage service and $1.15 for sewer service PER MONTH"

This is outrageous. The City government has given these companies a blank check that the taxpayers have to make good.
