Ok, so they ckecked the indoors, but how about the outdoor areas, such as the back yards? Can children play out there? Also like with any other gov. funded study which normally is half @ss job they do to prove whatever point they want, but did they only do the test during the day when it's windy? Did they do a soil analysis of peoples back yard? Did they do the tests at night, when the vapors are probably most likely to seep out? Sounds to me like here we did a couple of tests and we have proven to ourselves that everything is safe?

Where did they get the info on poeple living there? The most shocking statement I found was

"Stralka addressed the Bay Area Cancer Registry report on cancer rates in the area, which looked at rates of kidney and liver cancer and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, finding nearly double the regional rate of NHL between 1996 and 2005."

"The responsible parties include Intel, Raytheon and Schlumberger Corp., the descendant of the first chip manufacturer in the Valley, Fairchild Semiconductor" .... shouldn't the parties also be responsible for cleanup or compensation?

Stop whining. It could be worse. It could be SECOND-HAND CIGARETTE SMOKE!

Funny how that works, isn't it? The Authorities move so quickly to legislate on issues like Chik-Fil-A or cigarettes or those deadly plastic bags, but when it comes to tech heavyweights flush with money spilling CANCER into everybody's life, well, hey, slow down there, cowgirl: we've got to do some more investigation, here...

Money changes everything. Except cancer, LOL.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
