VIDEOSCOPE IS ABOUT TO CLOSE - HELP!

Original post made by Concerned MV resident, Old Mountain View, on May 22, 2013

This independent video store on El Camino in MV is a special part of our community. I go here for both first-run and obscure indie films...and Odin the owner always has it! The selection is truly amazing. But rents are being raised and he can't afford to stay.

What can you do?:
1) If you haven't rented a movie from Videoscope in a while - GO NOW! Show your support. And see some films you may not be able to get again.
2) Do you know a space in Mountain View that has reasonable rents and would be a good option for Odin? If so, let him know.

City of Mountain View: How can you let this small business go away? The collection of films is historic, like a library. Many films are not available from Netflix. It would be a terrible shame to break up this collection in a "going out of business" sale. If you have any ideas, please share them. We've only got a month or two before Videoscope closes its doors!
