A San Mateo native, Vinny Ferrando has been a Bay Area sports fan for as long as he can remember. Practically raised at Candlestick Park, Ferrando recalls how his father used to drive the family to games in his San Francisco Giants-themed car, which landed them a front row parking spot every time.

I have been to The Spot multiple times and liked them so much that I have used them for Catering a few parties. Everyone LOVED the sandwiches, especially the Bomb Sauce that comes on the side.

Words can't express how much our family LOVES the Sandwich Spot in Mountain View. We live an hour away and make sure whenever we are in the area to go there. We have even brought my son's basketball team and celebrated his 11th birthday there. All of his friends want to go to the spot. The staff is wonderful and the sandwiches are the BEST!!!! It's hard to write this as now all I want is my #14.

What a wonderful story about a guy following his dream! And the best part, we all get to benefit from his amazingly delicious, bomb, sandwiches!!
