Domestic violence i.e. male bullies are alive and well in homes of every class, neighborhoods, race etc. This article highlights this terrible truth which flies in the face of the usual bias that only women caught by poverty and in racist-designed ghettos suffer regular abuse from the male "protector" who shares her life.
The level of denial that this "man's world" proclaims about this problem and its epidemic in the USA is both infuriating and idiotic. Oh, well. And so it goes.
PS: Thanks to any men who actively support solutions like the one in this news article and esp thanks to any males who actually confront their "pals" who enjoy animosity toward women. That animosity not a joke.

Ruth Patrick illuminates an issue of which I was completely uneducated. As such, I fell into the abuser's traps. Now that I understand that my former spouse was following a very predictalbe path, I have gained great peace and strength and no longer submitt to the "Bully" techniques he so has effectively utilized for years.
