Appalling! 19 more employees just to meet the flood of building applications! Not only will we be stuck with even more people, traffic, and ugly apartment blocks. We also will be stuck with the salaries, benefits, and ruinously expensive defined benefit pensions for these nnnecessary staff members. Over development comes at a very steep price, both on quality of life and on the long-term financial health of the City. Can MV keep them all as part-time contract workers so they're not stuck with them forever? That's what industry now does to control costs.
