Bay Area "hyphy" rap duo the Hoodstarz grew up in East Palo Alto and Menlo Park. After running in to trouble with the law, they've shifted gears and now focus on music, entrepreneurial ventures and community service.

Great article! It’s good to read something positive about young men coming out of a troubled environment. These two young men made it out not unscarred but not letting their past negative mistakes define who they are today or where they see their future selves. No doubt, they are following their dreams down the (tricky) path of life, a life already mapped out.
