Lets welcome RVs and tiny homes in new micro-trailer parks and then clear all RVs off MV streets

Original post made by Christopher Chiang, North Bayshore, on Nov 12, 2018

Perhaps the problem isn't RVs, but city laws the prevent free-market responses to the RV situation. If only MV would allow private and non-profit developers to turn vacant lots to RV/tiny home parks that provide waste services, then the city could without moral dilemma, rid all RVs from public streets. Ironic that localities allow pumpkin and tree farms to pop up in vacant lots, but ban humans in houses on wheels.

More trailer parks across the Bay Area may seem undesirable to some, but isn't the status quo, RVs all over public streets without proper sewage removal surely worse for all sides? Most RVs would welcome a place close to work that has proper hookups where they can securely stay with dignity. We continue to wait for the best solution, and forever miss out on anything better than nothing. Your thoughts?
