What happened to all the comments that originally accompanied this "guest opinion"?

MVWSD parent: Those comments are all still there. Web Link

Your mistake was to check (and comment on) the second, later online "copy" of the story. This paper often releases a story first on the website, then after the printed edition appears, software generates a second online copy (with "print" in the URL). Regular readers soon learn this. Website personnel can merge the copies on request, but they say this duplication is a quirk of their software, and must be fixed case-by-case.

So, next time, please check the Town Square index page for the story copy you originally saw. Like so many such situations online, the answer is more quickly and easily found by looking around than by asking the world at large to find it for you.

Wow, that was quite a long-winded insult.

Thank you for the information but I’m not sure the critique was necessary.
