"NASA has also committed to maintaining the Moffett Airfield as burrowing owl habitat, and Google has contributed to the agency's efforts by installing fencing, constructing state-of-the-art artificial burrows and monitoring the preserves year-round, according to Google."

Seriously GOOGLE? You ended the fantastically successful feral cat/adoption program and went straight to building "state-of-the-art artificial burrows"??? Unreal. How did THAT happen? Was it because Shani Kleinhaus is an employee and forced your hand on other development deals? i.e., Audubon wouldn't OK dev plans unless Google did/does what you want?

And, captive breeding of burrowing owls is absolutely ridiculous _at this time_. Audubon playing god again.
