Surveillance can at least help catch bad guys. Maybe there is a huge backlog of burglary tapes to review. 2016 perhaps? Most burglars will skip houses with posted security. And most security is hooked up to computers and can be accessed online. Too bad they were not caught in the act. If the homeowners had called the police on September 4 or whenever the burglars were in the house, officers could have gotten there - by now!
