Grant making is so very competitive these days and most nonprofits are having a hard time just paying the rent, or being able to keep staff due to the high cost of living. The bayarea use to host nonprofit organization workshops and provide tools along with incentives to collaborate with others. It would be great to see that effort come back before most of the people are forced to leave. Great article looking forward to applying. Our nonprofit organization is struggling to stay in the bayarea. www.afrocomiccon.org is a very important stable to the community.
