Pay package of 310k is very rich. If you include all benefits and retirement it is much higher. We are getting close to a legal version of the CA Bell city manager pay package.

Shari is a registered user.

Rich gets richer. The City Manager is retiring. He needs to get his pension up. Figure he will then double-dip in another job. Local government is largely about getting more money and benefits.

Take a deep breath, total comp for our civil servants already has seen a bump up for 2019.

Transparent CA list mountain view salaries and benefits. It's an eye opener for sure. No judgement, just the facts.

Look at what Mountain View city employees receive - the highest a police sergeant.
Half million per year. Where is the city council? Out to lunch - on a city credit card?

I checked "..the more you know"'s link and there is a police SARGEANT (not even chief!) who made 450K last year!

This is totally insane! What is this city going to do in the next downturn???

Your tax dollars hard at work for what . We pay some of the highest taxes and a city council that has no concern for the
people who put them in office .
