Gov. Gavin Newsom calls for end of carotid artery restraint by police

Gov. Gavin Newsom expressed his support for ending the use of carotid holds on detainees which is similar to the one used on George Floyd in Minneapolis, during his Friday, June 5, press conference.

If you are being restrained in any manner by police, you are not a detainee but an arrestee. You are definitely not free to leave.
These bad apples are turning people against all law enforcement.

Law Enforcement has had DECADES to eliminate these "bad apples" in their midst. They haven't.

Since the police proved they can't police themselves, we will.
