Haiku in the Coronavirus Era

Back in March, I posted a "Coronavirus Haiku Challenge" on Nextdoor. It proved to be quite popular over the following weeks and months, with many folks contributing wonderful haiku, limericks, and other poems, often paired with great photos. Following one of my own contributions to the thread, a neighbor reached out to me and urged me to share it in the MV Voice Town Square. So here it is, along with photo image that inspired it:
