I've decided to not be 'national' in 'who's elected' thinking for the next few days. [so, I get to post 1st?]
I'm very glad Mountain View and MVWSD resident Dave has (apparently) earned another term on the Board of MVLA. He has struck me as 'a learning' type of guy (we all make mistakes) and I feel that his work with the ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED within Mountain View is significant and important for student 'equity' issues he meets in helping govern MVLA. Man of color - understands some of those issues better than a 'white like me' guy.
Dr. Phil (Faillice) has always struck me, when we talked 1:1 or I studied his 'board work', as a real blue collar 'smart old white guy'. In some ways not unlike "Joe" Biden. His work as Board Chair at CHAC/a public charity/ was unknown to me - but it's not at all surprising. {they work extensively with MV and LA kids and families facing mental health problems}
